Egad! I have a "bio!" What do I do with it? What can I tell you, Dear Reader? What do readers want to know about authors? Well, as of this writing, I'm not about to quit, because writing is what I do - I'm sort of addicted to it. I was suppressing it and then blocked from it for many years - now I'm loving every word of it. So more books are in our future, Dear Reader. I had great fun with the Merchant's Mine Series (7 novels and a novella), and I hope you'll open "Bloodline" to see what it's about. And the Reuben Temple series is my new obsession, starting with "Recalled." It'll race your heart and blush your face, alright. “Robert Scribe” is a nom de plume. I was born in the midwest in 1957, grew up on the East Coast, traveled a lot during my lengthy career in various technical capacities supporting the U.S. Navy (in uniform and out, enlisted and then contractor and Civil Servant). Happily retired now since 2018, I'm doing what I've always wanted to do. But who I am is a grateful child of God, made to be a writer. And I'm a father and fellow traveler in recovery, with sensitivities and vulnerabilities and more than a few lessons learned. Some of me is in every character and on every page of my books. Enjoy me! I'm there for you, and the books wouldn't exist without you, Dear Reader.
